CAREERLAND TERMS OF USE
1. Parties and Scope
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are entered into between Careerland İnsan Kaynakları Limited Şirketi (“Careerland”) and all natural or legal persons (“User”) using the services offered through careerlande.com, app.careerlande.com, and the Careerland mobile applications.
By accessing and/or using the platform, the User is deemed to have accepted these Terms.
2. Description of the Platform
Careerland is a multilingual and international digital platform that brings together candidates, employers, and service provider partners, and enables interaction through job postings, services, user profiles, communication, messaging, and community features.
Careerland may act as a direct service provider for certain services and solely as an intermediary platform in other cases.
Specific services provided by Careerland may also be subject to separate agreements.
3. Membership and Use
Use of the platform is free of charge. Careerland reserves the right to make certain services paid in the future.
The User may register only under one user role, must provide accurate, up-to-date, and complete information, and is personally responsible for the security of their account.
4. Rules of Use
The User may not engage in the following actions:
- Creating false, misleading, or inaccurate profiles, postings, or services
- Using the platform for fraud or deceptive purposes
- Directing users outside the platform in a way that causes financial or non-financial harm
- Sending spam, bulk messages, or engaging in disturbing communication
- Sharing hate speech, discriminatory, or unlawful content
- Offering illegal job opportunities
- Infringing intellectual property rights
- Submitting fake documents, references, or CVs
- Using the platform for data extraction, scraping, reverse engineering, or abuse
Careerland reserves the right to take all technical and legal measures it deems necessary in response to such violations.
5. Suspension and Termination of Accounts
Careerland may suspend or permanently terminate a User account in cases of violation of the rules of use, suspicious activity, or abuse.
Careerland is not obliged to provide prior notice or to state reasons before taking such actions.
6. Content and Community
The relevant User is solely responsible for all content shared on the platform.
Careerland does not guarantee the accuracy of content and merely provides hosting services for such content.
Unlawful content may be reported by users and may be removed upon review by Careerland. Careerland acts in accordance with the notice-and-takedown principle.
7. Messaging and Communication
Communication between Users is initiated through mutual approval and may be terminated by either party.
Careerland may review message content for security and abuse detection purposes; however, it does not guarantee absolute security of messaging.
Users are fully responsible for communications and agreements made outside the platform. Careerland reserves the right to inform users about fraud and abuse risks.
8. Limitation of Liability
Careerland is not responsible for recruitment processes between employers and candidates, agreements made between users, or the content, quality, or outcomes of services provided by partners.
For services directly provided by Careerland, reasonable care is exercised; however, no specific result or success is guaranteed.
9. International Use
The platform is accessible worldwide. The User is responsible for complying with the laws applicable in their country of residence or use.
Careerland is not responsible for incompatibilities arising from the laws or regulations of different countries and does not guarantee visa, work permit, or immigration outcomes.
10. Intellectual Property Rights
All rights related to the software, design, trademark, logo, content, and data structures of the Careerland platform belong to Careerland.
Content provided by the User remains the property of the User; however, the User grants Careerland a limited right to use such content for display on the platform.
11. Service Changes
Careerland reserves the right to modify platform features, add new services, remove existing services, and make certain services paid.
12. Language
The platform is offered in multiple languages. In the event of any discrepancy between language versions, the Turkish version shall prevail.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Istanbul Courts and Enforcement Offices shall have jurisdiction over any disputes.
